New Hire Benefits
Welcome!
UNFI invests in a comprehensive benefits program that supports your health, financial security and wellbeing. You can choose the benefits that matter most to you and your family.
New Hire Timeline
As a newly hired associate, here’s what you need to know about enrolling for benefits:
- Approximately five days after your first day of work: You’ll receive enrollment information (e.g., how to enroll, your enrollment deadline) at your home address on file.
- 30 days from your date of hire: You have 30 days beginning with your date of hire to elect benefits – this is your initial eligibility period. If you don’t make elections during this 30-day period, you’ll have to wait until the next Annual Enrollment to choose your benefits – unless you have a Qualifying Life Event.
